Space
Space

Mainstream mediocrity is guilty as charged. Quarterly magazine SPACE focuses on drool-factor design architecture, design, and living trends, and views space as far more than a mere box to live in.  SPACE  hails everything and everyone trend-setting and influential, whether minimal or maximal. Nothing is too bold and daring – or plain and simple – for S SPACE , as long as it has “great design” scrawled all over it. SPACE places aesthetics and practicality on equal footing, sometimes tipping the balance towards the flavour of the moment.

SPACE  is the new design gospel, the latest architecture bible, and truly a design statement. Special features gracing the pages of SPACE  discuss living spaces, architecture (old and new), travel, and celebrated design icons, and also present global updates on events and products.

SPACE  was a finalist in the recently concluded MIDA 2009 Awards in the category of service excellence.

FIVEFOOTWAY
FIVEFOOTWAY

FIVEFOOTWAY was established in June 2007 because its founders saw the need for a platform that would be relevant to a new generation of architects. FIVEFOOTWAY exists to create, collect and distribute information about architecture, and it strives to deliver on that promise. Given the niche content and audience, it was clear right from the beginning that FIVEFOOTWAY’s founders were not out to create something that would be deliriously popular to the masses (like an online social network), but something that would be defined by the value of the material and content delivered to a highly specific group of students, professionals, and enthusiasts pursuing the art that is architecture and the city.

FIVEFOOTWAY owes its name to the distinctive architectural feature found in the shophouses of Singapore, Malacca, Penang, and other Asian cities. The five-foot way is essentially public space on private land, where the boundaries of inside and outside blur and overlap. The name of the magazine thus reflects this quality; it is a platform for the exchange, interaction, and cross-fertilisation of ideas.
