The Architect Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) is an organisation of eighteen (18) national institutes of Architects from the Asian region; it serves as a professional platform for Asian architects aiming to foster relations and regional programmes between its member countries. Its Council, composed of the Presidents of the respective national institutes, deliberates and gives collective directions to matters affecting the architectural profession in Asia.

For several decades, ARCASIA has worked to strengthen intellectual, artistic, educational and scientific ties between architects in the region, and actively promoted the recognition of the architect’s role in society.

ArchiFest’11 showcases ARCASIA’s projects from Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India and Philippines.
