Light Up Ninja Jr.!

Light Up Ninja Jr.! a workshop-style event, organised during ArchiFest, for the young ones aged between 4-13 years old, to play and explore with light, inviting children to share an experience in creating illumination in Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden with simple hand-made lighting equipments. Organised by The Lighting Detectives within Lighting Planners Associates (LPA), this workshop aims to increase awareness about lighting cultures through practical methods and fieldworks.
Lighting Planners Associates (LPA) is a group of specialist engineers and designers to contribute to both of architectural and luminous culture through creation of a superb luminous environment. It was established by an internationally renowned lighting designer Mr. Kaoru Mende in 1990 in Tokyo, Japan and its Singapore office was incorporated in 2000.
The Lighting Detectives are a non profit group of people originated from Tokyo and are engaged in observing and recording international nightscape. The vision is to increase awareness about lighting cultures through practical methods and fieldworks, the activities focus on urban lighting environments, physically going out with our own eyes and feet to observe light instead of replying on theories.
The Light Up Ninja is a part of the Lighting Detectives activities in workshop style. The aim is to search and provide interesting solutions on how to create luminous environments for ourselves and our society. This time, a workshop will be organised during ArchiFest specially for the young ones.

REGISTRATION
- REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED
- Attendance by registration only, due to limited capacity.
- Expected participants: 30 children (age: 4-13 year old).
- Optional: Each child can be accompanied by their parents or guardians (one children per one adult please).
