Morning Tour
One-north, Biopolis, Wessex Estate, Colbar
Ease into your mornings by immersing yourself in nature. See how Pritzker Prize-winning architect, Zaha Hadid, was inspired by the surrounding environment in her proposal for the bio-city of One North – an organic city that grows, degenerates and regenerates itself like nature. Later, take a walk through the remote, tree-filled artist's enclave that is Wessex Estate and seize the opportunity to visit one of the Black & White art deco bungalows as well as a few artists' galleries. The romance of the morning culminates at Colbar, short for Colonial Bar. Surrounded by an open field and a lone tire swing, it is a throwback to another era; an eatery seems to hold time in the palm of its hand.
